The UC Law SF Communications and Entertainment Journal (“Comm/Ent”) presents its annual symposium virtually via Zoom on February 20 and 21, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM PST.

On Tuesday, February 20, tune in for “NIL & the Future of College Athletics” to hear industry experts discuss the current state of Name, Image, and Likeness (“NIL”), the opportunities NIL creates for student athletes, and how NIL relates to the continued development of sports, entertainment, and advertising law.

On Wednesday, February 21, tune in for “Strikes in the Entertainment Industry: What Next?” to hear premier attorneys in the entertainment space discuss the recent WGA-SAG strikes and how the outcomes of those strikes might transform the future legal landscape of the industry.

Please register below to reserve a spot at one or both days of our symposium. On-campus streaming will also be provided in the Alumni Reception Center (“ARC”) on the 2nd Floor of Mary Kay Kane Hall, 200 McAllister Street, San Francisco, CA 94102. Lunch will be provided upon request.

The Symposium will be hosted in Pacific Standard Time.
